Real Madrid and PSG supposedly have William Saliba as their top defensive target, according to Caught Offside.

The Champions League winners are in the market for a new centre-back and have the Arsenal man and Lille's Leny Yoro top of their list.

Meanwhile, PSG could also want a new defender if they sell Milan Skriniar.

But the claims suggest that Arsenal fans do not need to worry as the club have no intention of selling Saliba, with his deal running until 2027.

St Johnstone wonderkid Callan Hamill has been invited to train with Arsenal ahead of a potential move next summer.

The 15-year-old right-back represents Scotland at youth level.

He has caught the eye of Arsenal scouts and to help the club move ahead of Celtic and Rangers in the battle to sign him, Hamill will spend some time at London Colney this summer.

The player cannot move across the border until he turns 16 due to legislation.

Arsenal continue to monitor Fenerbahce star Ferdi Kadioglu during the summer transfer window.

The Gunners sent scouts to watch Kadioglu in action during Turkey's Euro 2024 clash against Austria.

The Turkish national team advanced to the quarter-finals after a 2-1 victory and will face the Netherlands in the next round.

Arsenal are reportedly among many Premier League clubs eyeing up a move for Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori.

Bologna technical director Giovanni Sartori told Sky Sports Italia: “There is talk of Juventus but also of many other teams

“At this moment we will try to keep him. If important offers were to arrive, we will have to think about it.

“I am not saying that we will sell him because the president has said that he wants to keep the whole team, but we will certainly make some evaluations.

Arsenal have turned down the chance to sign Manchester United ace Jadon Sancho this summer.

Sancho has fallen out of favour at United after a public spat with manager Erik ten Hag, who remained in charge after winning the FA Cup.

The winger spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund and played in the Champions League final.

According to reports in Italy, United have been offering the England international out and are looking to make a profit.

The Gunners were offered the chance to sign the 24-year-old but opted against it, just like Chelsea did last month.

The ex-defender ended an 11-year spell with the Gunners in 2014. He won 76 Switzerland caps.

The Swiss FA has now appointed Djourou, 37, as sporting director of the female national side.

He will oversee Aston Villa superstar striker Alisha Lehmann, 25, as well as Tottenham's 28-year-old defender Luana Buhler.

The Ivory Coast-born ace will also promote the game ahead of Switzerland staging the Women's Euros next year.

Xhaka to start vs England

Granit Xhaka is expected to start against England on Saturday – despite struggling with an adductor problem.

The Switzerland captain was a doubt ahead of their Euros quarter final with the Three Lions in Dusseldorf after having a scan on the issue on Monday morning.

Former Arsenal midfielder Xhaka, 31, had treatment on the pitch during their 2-0 last 16 victory over Italy last week but was able to carry on.

However, those concerns have been put aside for now, despite the Swiss national team confirming he would be doing individual work today away from the squad.

It is understood that this is precautionary and Xhaka will return to full training with his teammates at their base in Stuttgart in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Arsenal legend Mesut Ozil has been tipped to join the WWE after showing off his insane 12-month body transformation.

Ozil retired from professional football aged 34 in March 2023 after a short spell with Istanbul Basaksehir.

Sporting Lisbon are not going to back down on their £85million asking price for Arsenal target Viktor Gyokeres.

However, transfer insider Fabrizio Romano hinted the release clause could go down if a deal isn't reached before August.

For Viktor Gyokeres, Sporting still want the release clause, they want a package of €100million (£85m).

Arsenal are set to announce they have activated their buy option for David Raya.

Raya joined the Gunners on loan last season from Brentford with an option to buy for £27million.

Jorginho has reportedly personally recommended that Arsenal sign Riccardo Calafiori.

The Bologna defender has been linked with a move to the Emirates and is said to be open to the switch, although Juventus are also said to be keen.

Caldentey signs

Arsenal Women have signed Mariona Caldentey from Barcelona.

The 28-year-old leaves Barca having won 25 titles with the Catalan club.

She made 302 appearances for the Spanish outfit, scoring 114 goals in the process.

Speaking on her arrival to the Gunners, Caldentey said: "I'm so happy to be here.

"This is the right time for a new challenge for me and Arsenal is the perfect place.

"I think what Arsenal are doing as a club is amazing – on and off the pitch.

Arsenal have signed 16-year-old prospect Ceadach O'Neill to their youth academy.

The Northern Irishman joins from Linfield's U18 squad.

The youngster's Gaelic Football Club Kildrea seemingly confirmed the news on social media.

While they also revealed that O'Neill would be signing a three-year deal with the Gunners.

That deal is likely to come into effect when he turns 17 next April and can put pen to paper on a professional contract.

Arteta talks 'very positive'

Arsenal's talks with Mikel Arteta over a new deal are said to be "very positive".

The Gunners manager's current terms are due to expire at the end of the forthcoming season.

But Arsenal fans shouldn't worry about losing them man who has transformed their club, with Fabrizio Romano explaining to Give Me Sport that things are moving swiftly in the right direction for a new deal.

Arsenal are super happy with him, so I think they will find an agreement, it’s not going to be a big problem, the conversation is very positive, they are planning for the future together.

Calafiori update

After it was revealed that Riccardo Calafiori is open to a Prmeier League switch, Bologna's president has hinted it could be his most likely destination.

The boss of the Serie A club, Giovanni Sartori, has claimed that Calafiori is unlikely to join Juventus and said he will "probably" go abroad.

I think he will NOT end up joining Juventus.

Probably he can go abroad, in case we decide to sell him.

We’d like to keep Calafiori so let’s see what happens.
